Amanda Seyfried has once again donned the signature black turtleneck made famous by Elizabeth Holmes, this time for her debut campaign as a Tiffany & Co. house ambassador. The ensemble is a direct nod to Seyfried's Emmy-winning portrayal of the disgraced Theranos founder in Hulu's "The Dropout."
Holmes, who is currently serving an 11-year and three-month prison sentence for fraud, adopted the black turtleneck as her uniform, reportedly inspired by Steve Jobs. Seyfried studied Holmes' mannerisms, including her voice, for her critically acclaimed performance.
In the new Tiffany & Co. holiday campaign, Seyfried pairs the black turtleneck with statement jewelry from the brand's HardWear collection. The ensemble includes a pavé diamond necklace valued at $95,000, along with matching earrings and bracelet. Her hair is styled in a low ponytail, with a few strands framing her face.
The campaign also features Seyfried in a short film titled "You & Me," directed by Derek Cianfrance. The film is part of Tiffany & Co.'s "Love Is a Gift" holiday initiative and tells the story of a Christmas ornament passed down through generations.
"'You & Me' captures beautifully how a meaningful gift can hold memories and become part of a family’s story," Seyfried said in a statement. Seyfried, a mother of two, recently announced her split from husband Thomas Sadoski and is reportedly focusing on co-parenting and keeping projects close to home.
Seyfried also recently appeared in Nathan Fielder's documentary about Holmes, "You Can See Everything."
