Amanda Holden has playfully cautioned her followers about an impending "annual onslaught" of swimwear photos as she enjoys a holiday in Corfu. The television personality, 55, shared images of herself in a bikini while on a boat at sea, styled with a straw hat and aviator sunglasses. She also posted a clip of herself jumping into the water.
Alongside the photos, Holden wrote, "And so begins the annual onslaught of bikini shots. You have been warned!" She noted that she is spending time with her family before friends arrive for a more festive part of the trip. This break follows her hosting duties at the L’Oreal Professionnel Color Trophy awards in London earlier in the week.
In related comments, fellow celebrity Elizabeth Hurley offered support, calling Holden "fabulous," while Piers Morgan responded with laughing emojis. Alan Carr also commented on the holiday location, writing, "Awww Corfu!"
Maintaining her physique
Holden has previously spoken about her methods for maintaining her physique. She has mentioned following a diet similar to Elizabeth Hurley's, which involves consuming one substantial meal a day. Her typical breakfast includes an egg white omelette with spinach, feta, and avocado, accompanied by a green juice, with no further food consumed until the evening. Holden, who identifies as vegetarian, noted that her diet is "accidentally pretty healthy" but also acknowledged her enjoyment of food and alcoholic beverages, such as Aperol Spritz.
She has expressed a belief in moderation, stating, "I applaud whatever works for anybody else, but I can't be one of those people that cuts stuff out." Holden also shared that she relies on her Peloton bike for exercise two to three times a week, appreciating its flexibility regardless of weather conditions and its ease of integration into her schedule.
Addressing negativity
Regarding online commentary, Holden has addressed dealing with negativity. She has stated that she does not engage with negative comments and has developed a thicker skin due to her industry. She suggested that individuals with negative remarks should confront her directly. For confidence in public appearances, she described makeup as her "armour," often including false lashes and lip gloss, and frequently wears sunglasses to enhance her appearance on days she feels less confident.
