Amanda Holden Files to Trademark Name, Eyes Beauty Business Empire
The British media personality has reportedly submitted an Intellectual Property Office application to expand into beauty and cosmetic products.
Amanda Holden is reportedly planning to expand her business ventures by filing to trademark her name, according to The Sun. The application submitted to the Intellectual Property Office covers future use on beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and websites.
This move suggests Holden, 55, aims to establish a significant presence in the wellness and beauty market, potentially emulating the success of other celebrities who have launched similar brands. Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop and Holly Willoughby's Wylde Moon are cited as examples of lucrative celebrity-led wellness businesses.
Holden already has a homeware collection and serves as an ambassador for Revive Collagen. She recently traveled to Crete with her daughter Lexi for the brand.
Regarding personal care, Holden has previously stated her preference for non-surgical treatments due to a skin condition that causes her to overproduce scar tissue. She has indicated an openness to future non-invasive aesthetic options. While she has reportedly said she would not use Botox again, she clarified that she meant "never say never" and had not had treatments for months prior to the report.
Her fitness routine includes running three to four miles weekly, Kundalini yoga, and a "Viking workout regime." Holden emphasizes balance, stating she is not a "slave to any beauty or fitness regime" and enjoys food. She humorously explained her exercise motivation as needing to "run for my rosé wine in the summer and run for my red wine in winter."
Holden, known for her television and radio work, co-hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show and is a judge on Britain's Got Talent. She also presents Celebrity Inner Circle and stars in a BBC DIY show with Alan Carr.
