Amanda Holden displayed her enthusiasm for the World Cup by wearing a retro England football shirt and navy shorts as she departed her Heart radio show in London on Friday. The outfit was chosen ahead of England's upcoming clash against Mexico in the tournament.
Holden, 55, showcased the vintage jersey, which featured the number 18 on the back, a number associated with winger Anthony Gordon. She later clarified via Instagram that the shirt was originally worn by Ray Wilkins during the 1982 World Cup. Wilkins, who earned 84 caps for England between 1976 and 1986, passed away in 2018 at the age of 61.
For her outing, Holden opted for comfort, swapping her usual high heels for white trainers and carrying her essentials in a Dior handbag. She styled her blonde hair in curls and accessorized with sunglasses.
This appearance follows Holden's presence at Wimbledon earlier in the week, where she shared a public display of affection with her husband, Chris Hughes. The couple, married for 18 years, were seen kissing on Centre Court. Holden attended the tennis event in a pinstripe two-piece suit and large black sunglasses, while Hughes wore a white t-shirt and navy blazer.
During her summer activities, Holden also shared images of herself enjoying the recent heatwave. She posted a photograph on Instagram wearing a red Melissa Odabash bikini, captioned with details about spending time with the swimwear designer and friend Alesha Dixon. The bikini photo highlighted her toned physique and was shared during the period when Britain experienced its hottest June on record.
