Amanda Bynes was seen in Los Angeles on Wednesday, appearing somber as she shopped for supplies with her boyfriend Zachary Khan. Her outing came one day after the death of her "All That" co-star, Christy Knowings, who passed away at age 46.

Knowings died after suffering an asthma attack that resulted in brain damage. She had been placed on life support at a Los Angeles hospital the previous Friday, and her family later made the decision to remove her from life support.

Knowings was a cast member on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series "All That" for three seasons, from 1997 to 2000. During her time on the show, she portrayed various characters, including Penny Lane and Jessica on the recurring "Whateverrr!!!" sketch alongside Bynes. Knowings also appeared in three episodes of "Sesame Street" with her twin brother, Chris Knowings.

Bynes, who has recently shifted her career focus to designing, was seen holding hands with Khan as they visited stores and examined fabrics in the Fashion District. She wore a white t-shirt with a New York City logo, a grey miniskirt, a Gucci belt, and pink sneakers. Khan, 40, wore an all-black outfit with white sneakers.

In 2022, Knowings was among those who publicly supported Bynes and advocated for the termination of her conservatorship, which was officially ended that same year. At the time, Knowings told TMZ that "Amanda's a sweet person" and that she "loved working with her."

Christy Knowings' representative stated that she was a "multi-talented lady" who was "always creating" through singing, acting, and dancing. The representative added that Knowings was "always professional and dedicated to her work."

Kenan Thompson, another former "All That" co-star, paid tribute to Knowings on Instagram, calling her "one of the funniest people out here" and expressing his grief. "Man this one hit hard!!! Rest well Christy!!! Never could have imagined this day!!" Thompson wrote, sending his love to her family.

Knowings' passing follows the death of another "All That" co-star, Kianna Underwood, who died at age 33 in January after being involved in a hit-and-run collision in Brooklyn. Underwood had replaced Jamie Lynn Spears on the show for its final season and also appeared in the film "The 24 Hour Woman" and voiced a character in "Santa Baby!" She also toured with the musical "Hairspray."
