Amanda Bynes Shows Off Weight Loss in Los Angeles

Amanda Bynes, 40, was recently seen in Los Angeles sporting short shorts, highlighting her toned legs. The sighting comes after the former child star revealed she has lost approximately 40 pounds, attributing a significant portion of this to Ozempic. Bynes shared her weight loss progress on social media, noting a drop from 180 pounds to around 140 pounds. She aims to return to her teenage weight of 110 pounds.

In December, Bynes stated she weighed 152 pounds and had lost 28 pounds on Ozempic. By November of the previous year, she had lost 20 pounds and expressed a goal of losing an additional 50 pounds. She also mentioned that while taking an Ozempic pill, her weight initially increased to 180 pounds from 173, but the injectable form of Ozempic has since helped her reach her current weight. Bynes began taking Ozempic in June 2025, hoping to reach a weight of 130 pounds to improve her appearance in paparazzi photos.

Functional nutritionist Monica Partier observed that Bynes appeared to have lost about 40 pounds, suggesting her current weight is around 140 pounds. Partier noted Bynes's continued weight loss and advised that maintaining the results requires a diet of whole, nutrient-dense foods, high-protein, vegetable-heavy meals with limited processed foods, dairy, and sugar. Partier also suggested that diligence with diet could allow Bynes to maintain her slender figure even after discontinuing medication.

Bynes has also pursued other self-enhancement procedures. She underwent lip filler injections last August and had excess skin removed from her eyelids in 2023, a procedure known as blepharoplasty, which she described as beneficial for her self-confidence. Recently, Bynes released a teaser for her upcoming song "Trap House," a collaboration with indie artists Zabba and Lil Dexx. Online commentators have speculated that the video may have been generated using AI, with one detector indicating a 93% certainty of AI generation. Bynes has not publicly commented on these claims.
