Amanda Bynes was seen visiting Hustler Hollywood on Wednesday, a sex shop in Los Angeles, to preview an upcoming collaboration. The 40-year-old former Nickelodeon star, who has spoken about using Ozempic for weight loss, was photographed wearing a pink New York City T-shirt, a grey mini-skirt, and one of her own "Ca$h Bby" bags. She was seen vaping while seated in her SUV.

Bynes's public appearance follows her reaction on Monday to the death of fellow child star Hayden Panettiere. Bynes posted a since-deleted message on LinkedIn, including a screenshot of an article where Panettiere allegedly explained why she "didn't turn out like Bynes." Bynes commented, "Life can hit you hard, and fast. What a horrible situation. I was simply stating... glass houses."

Panettiere was reportedly in cardiac arrest when first responders arrived at her Greenville, South Carolina, residence on Sunday. Her death is currently under investigation by the Greenville City Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Her representative stated that there is nothing to share at this time but expressed hope that justice will be served.

Bynes has a history of legal and mental health challenges. She was hospitalized in a psychiatric treatment facility in 2023 after a period of wandering the streets of Los Angeles in a manic state. A year prior, her nine-year legal conservatorship, overseen by her mother, was terminated.

In 2013, Bynes experienced a public breakdown that led to psychiatric hospitalizations, following a series of legal issues starting in 2012, including two hit-and-run incidents and two DUIs. She has since been pursuing a career in fashion, earning an associate degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in 2019. She has also been promoting her handmade faux-fur purse collection.

Bynes clarified on LinkedIn that her bags are not intended to be high-end luxury items, describing them as "FUN, nostalgic, Y2K-ish and campy!" She also released an auto-tune EDM song titled "Girlfriend" in April. Bynes first gained fame as a child actress on Nickelodeon's "All That" and "The Amanda Show," later starring in films such as "What a Girl Wants," "She's the Man," and "Easy A."
