Amal Clooney Shines in Gold Gucci Gown at the 2026 Albie Awards
The human rights lawyer stunned in a sequined and fringed Gucci dress alongside husband George Clooney.
Amal Clooney made a glittering appearance at the 2026 Albie Awards red carpet, opting for a striking gold Gucci gown. The human rights lawyer, 48, attended the event with her husband, George Clooney, on Friday.
Clooney's ensemble featured a molded, off-the-shoulder design, adorned with gilded sequins across the bodice that cascaded into layers of beaded fringe. She complemented the dress with a bejeweled clutch, statement earrings, and gold metallic pointed-toe heels.
George Clooney opted for a classic black tuxedo for the occasion. The event saw a host of other notable attendees, including Brad Pitt, Emily Ratajkowski, Josh Hartnett, Donatella Versace, Anna Wintour, Bianca Jagger, and Laura Dern.
The Albie Awards, founded by the Clooneys, aim to honor individuals and organizations dedicated to fighting for justice globally. This year's ceremony, held at London's Natural History Museum, recognized honorees such as Kyrgyz journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhibek Kyzy, Malawian girls' rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala, American photojournalist Lynsey Addario, the Congolese organization Justice Plus, and Microsoft's Vice Chair and President Brad Smith.
Charlotte Tilbury served as a returning sponsor for the event, with Gucci joining as the fashion partner for the first time. In the previous year, Clooney wore a brown draped gown by Versace when the brand sponsored the awards.
Amal Clooney has recently favored styles incorporating fringe, having been seen in a flapper-style minidress and a longer white ensemble last month. Earlier in September, the couple was in Venice during the city's film festival, where George Clooney received a lifetime achievement award.
