Amal Clooney Hosts Star-Studded Charity Event with Husband George
The human rights lawyer and her actor husband welcomed a host of celebrities to The Albies in London, an event honoring those fighting for justice.
Amal Clooney brought her signature glamour to the Natural History Museum in London on Friday night as she hosted the Clooney Foundation for Justice's annual charity event, The Albies, alongside her husband, George Clooney. The human rights lawyer, 48, captivated attendees in a shimmering gold, off-the-shoulder gown adorned with fringe, which she paired with pointed stilettos and a silver clutch.
George Clooney, 65, complemented his wife's ensemble, arriving in a classic tuxedo and bow tie. The couple, married for 12 years, drew a notable A-list crowd to the ceremony, which is named after South African anti-apartheid hero Justice Albie Sachs and aims to celebrate individuals dedicated to fighting for justice and human rights.
Notable guests included actress Isla Fisher, who made a striking appearance in a red satin dress with a structured bodice and accessorized with gold heels and a matching clutch. Hannah Waddingham also donned a gold one-shouldered gown, showcasing her hourglass figure.
Emma Thompson attended the event with her daughter Gaia Wise, who opted for a black cut-out gown. Other celebrities in attendance included Hugh Bonneville and his girlfriend Heidi Kadlecova, actress Marisa Abela, Richard Kind, and Laura Dern.
Charlotte Tilbury, a longtime partner of The Albies for the past five years, expressed her pride in supporting the Clooneys and their foundation. "I am so proud to support my remarkable friends, Amal and George Clooney, and the vital work they do through the Clooney Foundation for Justice," she stated. Tilbury emphasized her mission of empowerment, noting that the event celebrates individuals who create a positive ripple effect through their achievements.
Other attendees included Lynsey Addario in an elegant off-the-shoulder dress with a purple satin skirt, and actress Sharon Horgan, who wore a chic black satin suit. Amal Clooney's mother, Baria Alamuddin, and sister, Tala, were also present.
Richard Kind was seen in a classic black tux and bow tie. The event also saw appearances from models and designers, including Emily Ratajkowski and Donatella Versace.
