Amal and George Clooney Host Star-Studded The Albies Charity Event

Amal Clooney brought glamour to the Natural History Museum in London on Friday night as she co-hosted the Clooney Foundation for Justice's annual charity event, The Albies, with her husband George Clooney. Amal, a human rights lawyer, wore a shimmering gold fringed gown by Gucci, complemented by pointed stilettos and a silver clutch.

George Clooney, an actor, appeared in a classic tuxedo and bow tie. The event, named after South African anti-apartheid hero Justice Albie Sachs, aims to recognize individuals dedicated to fighting for justice and human rights. This year's honorees included Kyrgyz journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhybek Kyzy, Malawian girls’ rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala, American photojournalist Lynsey Addario, the Congolese organization Justice Plus, and Microsoft Vice Chair and President Brad Smith, who is also a human rights advocate.

The star-studded gathering saw a notable attendance of celebrities and public figures. Among the guests were actors Brad Pitt and his girlfriend Ines De Ramon, who made a rare public appearance together. Pitt, a long-time friend of George Clooney, was dressed in a black tuxedo, while De Ramon wore a sheer blue lace gown.

Other attendees included Isla Fisher in a red satin dress, Hannah Waddingham in a one-shouldered gold gown, and Emma Thompson, who attended with her daughter Gaia Wise. Hugh Bonneville and his girlfriend Heidi Kadlecova, actress Marisa Abela, Richard Kind, and Laura Dern were also present. Emily Ratajkowski was seen in a brown sequin gown by Gucci, and actress Sharon Horgan opted for a black satin suit.

Charlotte Tilbury, founder of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, served as an official partner for the event for the fifth consecutive year, as did Gucci. Tilbury expressed her pride in supporting the Clooney Foundation for Justice and the honorees, emphasizing the importance of empowerment in driving positive change.
