Allie Eklund has taken steps to cut off contact with her ex-boyfriend, Steven McBee Jr., after their public split. The social media influencer stated that McBee Jr. sent two-page handwritten apology letters to each member of her family, along with flowers.
Eklund, who recently appeared on "The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys," told Page Six that her family made it clear to McBee Jr. that he would no longer be welcome in their home. The couple, who became Instagram official in November 2025, ended their relationship in April. The breakup became public when McBee Jr. accused Eklund of cheating at the Stagecoach music festival.
Eklund has denied the cheating allegations and shared screenshots of text messages from McBee Jr. that contained aggressive language. In the messages, McBee Jr. reportedly used derogatory terms towards Eklund. He later posted an apology video and reportedly entered a trauma retreat to address anger issues.
Eklund stated that she did not feel McBee Jr.'s subsequent messages were apologies or demonstrated accountability, describing them as explanations for his behavior. She ultimately decided to block him from further contact and has no plans to resume communication.
Approximately four months after their breakup, Eklund also noted that McBee Jr. has not yet returned all of her belongings. Among the items still in his possession are a "vintage saddle," which Eklund described as a family heirloom, and a horse he gifted her for her birthday in March. She expressed a desire for the saddle to be shipped back to her.
"The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, with new episodes available the following day on Peacock.
