Former New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard and his fiancée, Camila Escribens, the former Miss Peru 2023, have ended their engagement, according to reports. The couple reportedly called off their wedding just 10 months after the birth of their daughter last October. Wedding invitations had reportedly already been sent out.

Details surrounding the reason for their split remain unclear. Lazard and Escribens became engaged in May 2025 during a beach proposal in Montauk, a moment the Jets organization publicly acknowledged and congratulated them on via their team's social media account.

Lazard had announced in July of the previous year that the couple was expecting a baby girl. Photos from their gender reveal celebration with family were shared at the time. The couple's relationship became public during the 2024-25 NFL season, with Escribens attending Jets games and posting photos from MetLife Stadium on social media.

Both Lazard and Escribens have reportedly removed most traces of their relationship from Instagram, including their joint engagement announcement. However, Lazard's post announcing their daughter's gender reveal remains online.

Lazard is currently seeking to join a new team for his ninth NFL season. He signed a four-year, $44 million contract with the Jets before the 2023 season. During his tenure with the Jets, Lazard recorded 70 receptions for 911 yards and eight touchdowns before being released this offseason. His career statistics include 239 catches for 3,147 receiving yards and 28 receiving touchdowns.
