Former New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard and his fiancée, Camila Escribens, have ended their engagement less than a year after the birth of their daughter.
The couple, who had already sent out wedding invitations, are no longer together, according to TMZ.
Escribens, who was crowned Miss Peru in 2023 and placed in the top 10 at the Miss Universe pageant the same year, and Lazard welcomed their daughter last October. The former couple have since deleted photos of each other from their respective Instagram accounts, with Escribens reportedly removing a post showcasing her engagement ring.
Lazard proposed to Escribens in May 2025 with a beachside proposal in Montauk, New York. The engagement was announced on Escribens's Instagram with the caption 'Onto the next chapter... 05.18.25.' The New York Jets organization congratulated the couple on the engagement at the time.
Escribens was first seen supporting Lazard at Jets games in 2024, and photos from MetLife Stadium, including one from a Monday Night Football game, documented her presence. She wore a Jets varsity jacket in some of the posted images.
Lazard was released by the Jets in December 2025. He had joined the team ahead of the 2023 season, reuniting with former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, Lazard's tenure with the Jets was marked by underwhelming performance, with 70 catches for 911 yards and eight touchdowns across three seasons. He has not yet signed with a new NFL team.
In recent days, Escribens shared photos from a tropical vacation on her Instagram account.
