Alleged Murderer Texted About Taylor Swift, European Getaway

Beau Lamarre-Condon, accused of murdering Luke Davies and Jesse Baird, engaged in casual conversations about Taylor Swift, European travel, and dinner plans with a friend via text message in the period after the alleged homicides.

In text messages reviewed by authorities, Lamarre-Condon discussed plans for a European getaway and Taylor Swift with a childhood friend. The communications took place between February 19 and February 21, 2024, the same days he is accused of killing Davies and Baird and then allegedly dumping their bodies.

On February 20, the day after the alleged murders, Lamarre-Condon reportedly exchanged texts with Elizabeth Kennedy, a friend who accompanied him to a rural property where the bodies were allegedly disposed of. The content of these messages, mock-ups of which were presented, included discussions about plans for a European trip and casual greetings. Kennedy has provided evidence in court regarding these communications and Lamarre-Condon's actions.

Further texts on February 21 show Lamarre-Condon sent a photo of himself riding a horse to another female friend. This friend has also provided evidence to investigators. In one of the alleged final texts before the discovery of the bodies, Lamarre-Condon mentioned going for a "drive."

Lamarre-Condon and Kennedy were captured on CCTV footage inside a Bunnings store in Goulburn on February 20, the day they allegedly transported and dumped the bodies. Police allege that Lamarre-Condon murdered Luke Davies and Jesse Baird on February 19, 2024.

Investigators reportedly found the bodies of Davies and Baird inside blue surfboard bags near a fence in Bungonia. Lamarre-Condon allegedly used a Toyota HiAce rental van to transport the bodies to the remote location.
