TikTok influencer Alix Earle, who boasts nearly 9 million followers on the platform, stated in a recent Q&A that she has “never read a book,” with the exception of Dr. Seuss. The admission came during a video interview with Interview editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg.
Commenters on social media have reacted to Earle's statement, with some expressing surprise and criticism. One user wrote that not having read a book since elementary school is “embarrassing.” Another questioned the veracity of her claim, noting her academic background, which includes a degree in marketing from the University of Miami.
