Social media sensation Alix Earle has addressed the rumors linking her to NFL star Tom Brady, discussing their past interactions in her new Netflix reality series, "Earle Meets World." The series premiered on Friday, with an episode featuring Earle discussing the speculation with Jenna Johnson, wife of "Dancing with the Stars" partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
During rehearsals for a tour earlier this year, Johnson asked Earle about the situation with Brady. "I don't know what's going on. I'm having fun," Earle responded when asked if the romance was confirmed. She added, "I know, a lot has changed since last time," and when prompted about her previous boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, Earle stated she was "good."
Johnson jokingly mimicked Earle calling Brady, saying, "Then you were like, 'Tom, come over, cutie.' "
Earle and Brady first sparked romance rumors around New Year's Eve, when they were seen in what were described as flirty exchanges. They were later spotted together at a Super Bowl party in San Francisco in February, where they were observed dancing.
Earle, a skincare brand founder, previously dated New York Giants receiver Braxton Berrios. The couple reportedly broke up in December after more than two years together.
However, it appeared the connection with Brady had cooled by April, when Earle reportedly swore off football players in a YouTube video. A source suggested to the Daily Mail in March that Brady was not seriously involved with Earle, stating he was "not looking for that" and that dating was not on his mind. The insider also described Brady as "awkward when it comes to dating" and that women often made the first move.
The source characterized the interaction between Brady and Earle as "a hooking up and having fun type of thing, at least for now," adding that Earle was "totally his type."
Earle was later seen partying with Formula 1 driver Lando Norris during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend in June, suggesting a shift in her romantic interests.
