Alison Hammond, 51, is planning a 'celebration of love' with her boyfriend David Puttnam, 28, this summer, eschewing traditional marriage for a large party. Hammond has been dating the Russian model and massage therapist since 2023.

She told Closer magazine that she does not feel the need to get married, stating, 'I just don't think I need to get married. I've got my man and I'm settled.' Instead, she wants to mark her relationship with loved ones at a summer event that will include a dress, music, food, and drink.

Hammond's son, Aidan, 21, whom she shares with ex Noureddine Boufaied, will give her away at the celebration. She humorously suggested her This Morning co-star Dermot O'Leary could serve as a 'flower boy' rather than fulfilling a more traditional role.

Should Hammond ever decide to officially marry, she expressed unconventional views, saying, 'If I marry someone, I want him to take my name. Why does it have to be the other way round? I don't want to be owned by anybody.'

Describing her ideal date night, Hammond shared it involves watching 'Love Island' in bed with cherries and seaweed, with Puttnam giving her a foot massage. She recently addressed criticism regarding the 22-year age difference between her and Puttnam, asserting that it is 'nothing to do with anyone else.'

Hammond met Puttnam in 2023 after booking a massage with him. The couple made their relationship public in April 2024, and later made their red carpet debut together with Aidan.
