Alexander Brothers' Victims Deliver Tearful Statements Ahead of Sentencing

Victims of the Alexander brothers delivered harrowing accounts of sexual assault in a Manhattan courtroom Tuesday as the trio awaits sentencing. Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander, who face up to life in prison for sex trafficking charges, listened impassively as survivors recounted the profound trauma inflicted by their actions.

Artist Lindsay Acree, who testified during the brothers' trial about being drugged and raped by Tal Alexander in 2021, addressed the court directly. "Why did you do this? I just don’t get it. I don’t understand the cruelty. I don’t understand the hatred towards women," Acree stated.

Another victim, identified as "Bela Koval," a Ukrainian model who testified under an alias, described being incapacitated by a drugged drink before Oren Alexander raped her. She recounted the assault occurring inside a lavish Sag Harbor mansion where the brothers hosted parties. A Nevada nurse, using the alias "Maya Miller," tearfully told the court that Tal Alexander's violent assault, which occurred while she wept in the shower of the same Hamptons property, has left her with "scars" she will "forever carry."

Tal and Oren Alexander, formerly prominent real estate agents who worked with high-profile clients, and their brother Alon, who operates a security firm, are each facing a minimum of 15 years in prison. Prosecutors are seeking the maximum sentence, life imprisonment. US District Judge Valerie Caproni is expected to deliver the sentence following a lengthy hearing.

The brothers were convicted of sex trafficking charges earlier this year. The case has highlighted the alleged pattern of predatory behavior, with victims describing how they were drugged and sexually assaulted by the brothers, often at parties hosted at their properties.
