The wives of convicted real estate developers Oren and Alon Alexander, along with their parents Olry and Shlomy Alexander, were notably absent from Manhattan Federal Court on Tuesday during the sentencing hearing for their sex trafficking crimes. The only Alexander family member present was the brothers' oldest sibling, Niv.

The wives of Oren and Alon Alexander, Kamila Hansen and Shani Zigron respectively, did not attend. Tal Alexander's former wife, Arielle Kogut, who shares a child with him, also did not appear. Oren's wife, Kamila Hansen, was reportedly heavily pregnant when allegations first surfaced in 2024. Tal's lawyer, Deanna Paul, stated in court that the brothers had asked their parents not to attend the sentencing to spare them the distress of hearing their prison sentences.

"The brothers asked them not to come. They didn’t want their parents to have to hear these sentences," Paul told the judge, noting that her clients face a minimum of 15 years and up to life in prison.

The sentencing follows a period where the victims of the Alexander brothers delivered emotional impact statements in court. The brothers, known for their involvement in luxury real estate, were accused of a range of sex crimes. Tal Alexander's wife filed for divorce in January 2025, shortly after the allegations became public.
