Alexa Chung has confirmed her engagement to actor Tom Sturridge, sharing details about the unique ring he proposed with. The model, 42, appeared jubilant in a recent Instagram selfie, showcasing the distinctive Tudor-era ring.
In an interview with More Or Less Magazine, Chung described the engagement ring as a "beautiful Tudor ring" featuring a table-cut diamond. She noted its resemblance to jewelry worn by figures from the court of Henry VIII, including Anne Boleyn. Chung recounted an amusing anecdote where her hairstylist, upon seeing the ring, exclaimed it might be "haunted" and playfully performed a ritual around it.
Speculation about an engagement began in June 2023 when Chung was seen wearing a ring at a birthday celebration. Further rumors circulated in 2024 after she was photographed with similar jewelry during Paris Fashion Week. The couple, who have been together for four years, made their public debut in July 2022, photographed kissing at Wimbledon.
