Alesha Dixon has taken on a new role as a host for "The Voice UK," stepping in for Emma Willis who is moving to "Strictly Come Dancing."

Dixon performed at the Ovo Arena in Wembley, reuniting with her former Mis-Teeq bandmates Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington for a concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album. This performance came shortly after the announcement of her new hosting gig.

The singer showcased a daring black crop top and a skirt with cut-out details during her performance. She also shared backstage photos on Instagram, highlighting her toned physique.

"The Voice UK" has seen a shift in its coaching panel as well. Sir Tom Jones, a long-time coach, claimed he was "axed last-minute" by ITV after 13 years, citing financial difficulties with insurance as the reason. ITV, however, stated they are still in discussions with Jones about future involvement.

Cheryl has been confirmed as a new coach, marking her return to television after a break. She will be joined by rapper Aitch, who replaces the departing McFly duo Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher. The new lineup has reportedly created an awkward atmosphere on set, with fellow coach will.i.am said to be displeased with how Sir Tom Jones' departure was handled. Sources suggest this situation is uncomfortable for Cheryl, who is experiencing her television comeback under these circumstances.

Filming for the current season of "The Voice UK" took place earlier in 2024, with a significant gap expected before the live finals due to scheduling changes. The show moved to ITV in 2017, at which point Sir Tom Jones was brought back as a judge. Over its 14-year run, the singing competition has featured 11 different coaches.
