Alaskan Bush People Star Gabe Brown's Wife Files for Divorce After Seven Years

Raquell Brown, the wife of Alaskan Bush People star Gabriel "Gabe" Brown, has filed for divorce, ending their seven-year marriage. In court documents filed on September 22, Raquell stated that the union had been "irretrievably broken."

According to Us Weekly, which reviewed the legal documents, Raquell and Gabe, 36, have been living in separate states since April. Raquell resides in Minnesota, while Gabe remains in Washington. The couple shares three children.

Raquell has requested that the court divide their assets and that both parties be responsible for debts incurred after their separation date. The filing also indicates that Raquell is seeking temporary spousal support and wants Gabe to cover her legal fees and related expenses. Other requested funds include child support, medical needs for their children, daycare, transportation for long-distance travel, and educational costs.

Bear Brown, Gabe's brother, confirmed the separation in a TikTok video shared earlier on Tuesday. "Yes, Gabe is getting divorced, Gabe and Raquell are separating," Bear stated, adding that he had previously been told by both parties that they were not splitting. He expressed hope that the process could be handled peacefully and that the focus would remain on the children's well-being.

The divorce filing comes after a difficult year for the family, which included the death of Gabe's brother, Matt Brown, by suicide earlier this year at the age of 42.

Gabe and Raquell's relationship was featured on Alaskan Bush People, which first aired in 2014. They began their relationship in 2018 and were married in January 2019, with their wedding reception broadcast on the show in 2020.
