Alabama Woman Convicted of Aggravated Child Abuse

An Alabama woman has been found guilty of aggravated child abuse for physically torturing and brutally harming a child. Erin Griffith, 28, of Grand Bay, was convicted by a jury on September 22, according to WKRG.
Court documents state that Griffith hit a child in the head and body with an unidentified object. It is not clear whether the child was related to Griffith. She is scheduled to be sentenced on November 5.
Griffith has a prior history of child abuse. Court documents obtained by the Daily Mail indicate that she was charged in another child abuse case in 2024. She was arrested on November 29, 2024, and held on a $15,000 bond before being released from jail on December 2.
