Al-Hilal has reached an agreement with West Ham for the transfer of winger Crysencio Summerville, with a reported fee of $68 million.

This offer significantly surpasses the $39 million plus add-ons previously submitted by Roma. The Saudi club has also extended a long-term contract offer to the Netherlands international, contingent on a successful medical examination. While final details are still being negotiated, the substantial Saudi offer is expected to deter Premier League and other European clubs from entering the bidding.

Summerville, 24, joined West Ham from Leeds in the summer of 2024 for $25 million. During his tenure with the Hammers, he scored eight goals in 56 appearances, but the team was relegated to the Championship last season.

Manchester United had previously shown interest in Summerville, holding exploratory talks with West Ham regarding the player. However, the Saudi club's large bid is likely to prevent any potential move to Old Trafford.

West Ham is also reportedly seeking to offload other players, including Jean-Clair Todibo, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Alphonse Areola, Edson Alvarez, and Niclas Fullkrug.
