Ainsley Earhardt Discusses Married Life With Sean Hannity After Lavish Wedding
The Fox News host shared details about her new marital status and her decision to use her maiden name professionally.
Ainsley Earhardt, 50, has spoken publicly about her marriage to fellow Fox News star Sean Hannity, 64, days after their wedding in Palm Beach, Florida. Earhardt revealed that while she will use "Mrs. Hannity" in her personal life, she will continue to use her maiden name, Ainsley Earhardt, for her professional work on television.
"I am so proud to be Mrs. Hannity," Earhardt said on Tuesday during an appearance on Fox & Friends, her co-host Lawrence Jones having asked about her taking her new husband's last name. She added that she has "pretty much signed every text people have sent me, love Mrs. Hannity." However, she explained her decision to maintain her professional name, stating, "For TV, I think at Fox, there is room for only one Hannity. So I think I will be Ainsley Earhardt forever on TV."
The couple exchanged vows on Saturday at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea church in Palm Beach, followed by a reception at the exclusive Everglades Club. Earhardt described the wedding as a joyous occasion, surrounded by loved ones and supporters. "We had a blast. Everyone in that room has supported us. We were there with so many people from Fox, so many family members, so many friends, it was everyone in one room that we love most. It was just so special," she said.
Notable guests at the wedding included Donald Trump's chief of staff Susie Wiles, Eric and Lara Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and a significant contingent from Fox News, including Earhardt's co-hosts Steve Doocy, Jones, and Brian Kilmeade, as well as Laura Ingraham and Bret Baier. A pre-wedding party was held at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate on Friday night, attended by President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, among other political and media figures.
In a statement released through Fox News, Earhardt expressed her gratitude: "My heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy. To celebrate this beautiful season of our lives surrounded by the people we love most is truly a dream come true. God has blessed us in more ways than we could ever imagine, and I am so thankful that He brought Sean and me together."
Hannity echoed these sentiments, stating, "Ainsley is an incredible person and I couldn't be happier or more grateful that God brought us together. Faith, family and friendship are what matter most in life and having so many people we love and care about together to celebrate this moment means the world to us."
The relationship between Earhardt and Hannity reportedly blossomed from a close friendship among Fox colleagues. The Daily Mail first reported on their romance in 2023. Hannity proposed to Earhardt at his home church over Christmas 2024.
