Natalie Harp, a close aide to former President Donald Trump, reportedly once climbed into the trunk of an SUV he was traveling in to remain with him when no seat was available. The incident occurred in October 2023 as Trump was being transported from Trump Tower to a Manhattan courthouse, sources told CNN.

Harp was described as determined not to be left behind. According to the report, she engaged in a "screaming match" and insisted the president had asked her to attend the court appearance, which led to her entering the SUV's trunk.

This act is one of several instances that have highlighted Harp's apparent devotion to Trump. Trump has reportedly made efforts to ensure a seat is available for her in recent months.

Harp, referred to within Trump's circle as the "human printer" due to her tendency to carry a portable printer with her, was also among a small group who accompanied Trump during an escape from a security threat in Turkey last month. The Washington Post reported that Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent were on a separate, decoy plane.

Senator Jon Ossoff's viral campaign rally comments about Harp have drawn renewed attention to her relationship with Trump. Harp's correspondence with Trump, including letters that have reportedly raised concerns with the Secret Service during his 2024 campaign, have also drawn scrutiny. One letter, highlighted by The New York Times, concluded with the words, "With all my heart, Natalie."

A White House adviser told CNN that Trump "likes the attention" from Harp and values her "100% commitment and loyalty." According to authors Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan in their book "Regime Change," Trump has stated that Harp "will never leave" him and is "the only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids."
