Hundreds of photographs taken inside the World Trade Center's North Tower in the months before September 11, 2001, have been brought to life using artificial intelligence. The images, captured by electrician and amateur photographer Konstantin Petrov, offer a rare glimpse into the Twin Towers as they appeared in their final days.

Petrov, who worked the night shift, documented empty offices, kitchens, elevators, stairwells, and dining rooms. His archive also includes expansive views of New York City from over 1,300 feet above the streets. For the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, AI was used to transform Petrov's still photographs into moving scenes, creating a reconstructed sense of movement within the real locations and moments he documented.

The project aims to tell the story of Konstantin Petrov, the archive he created, and to offer a final journey through the World Trade Center before the events of September 11, 2001.
