AEW Wrestler Benjamin Satterley, Known as Pac, Found Deceased at 40

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) performer Benjamin Satterley, widely known by his ring name Pac, was found deceased on Sunday at the age of 40. Authorities responded to a call at a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, where Satterley was discovered unresponsive in a vehicle.

Dispatch audio reviewed by the California Post indicated that emergency services were alerted around 4:00 p.m. to a situation described as a "slumper" in a car, with responders unable to confirm breathing. Later audio confirmed Satterley was pronounced dead on arrival.

Restaurant patrons had reportedly noticed Satterley passed out in his vehicle and attempted to provide aid before emergency personnel arrived. A witness described seeing an ambulance, police, and a fire truck at the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office pronounced Satterley dead at 4:08 p.m.

The cause of death is currently pending an autopsy.

Satterley, a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, had competed in AEW on Saturday night at the NOW Arena in Chicago, participating in a match at the All Out pay-per-view event. He also made an appearance during the main event between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.

AEW officially announced his passing Sunday evening, stating that Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and performed globally, known for his "innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability." He signed with AEW in 2019, holding multiple championships and participating in significant matches for the promotion.

Satterley also had a previous tenure in WWE, where he competed under the name Adrian Neville.
