AEW Wrestler Benjamin Satterley, Known as Pac, Found Dead at 40

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Benjamin Satterley, known to fans as Pac, was found deceased in a vehicle in an Illinois parking lot on Sunday, September 28, 2026. He was 40 years old.

Authorities responded to dispatch calls around 4:00 p.m. at a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, less than a mile from Chicago O'Hare International Airport. According to dispatch audio reviewed by the California Post, first responders found Satterley unresponsive in a vehicle, with an official later confirming he was dead on arrival. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office pronounced him dead at 4:08 p.m.

A witness reported that restaurant patrons observed Satterley slumped over in his car and called 911, attempting to provide aid with restaurant medical equipment before emergency personnel arrived. An ambulance, police, and a fire truck were present at the scene.

Satterley, originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, had performed for AEW the previous night in Chicago at the NOW Arena. He competed in a match against Andrade at the All Out pay-per-view event and later appeared during the main event bout between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.

AEW released a statement announcing his death shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. The promotion noted Satterley's career began in 2004 and that he captivated audiences worldwide with his high-flying maneuvers and in-ring skill. He signed with AEW in 2019, holding multiple championships and participating in memorable matches.

Before joining AEW, Satterley competed in WWE under the ring name Adrian Neville. AEW extended condolences to Satterley's family, friends, and fans.

The cause of death has not yet been released, pending the results of an autopsy.
