AEW's Death Riders Undergo Major Faction Shift
The wrestling group executed a significant collective turn on Wednesday's Dynamite.
All Elite Wrestling's faction, the Death Riders, underwent a substantial transformation on Wednesday's "Dynamite" broadcast, marking one of the most significant collective shifts in the promotion's history. The group's change in alignment occurred following a period where their status had become ambiguous.
The situation for the Death Riders became complicated after "Hangman" Adam Page defeated Jon Moxley in the main event of All In Texas during the summer of 2025. Since then, the audience has largely responded positively to Moxley, especially after he delivered a notable babyface promo upon winning the Continental championship in December.
Despite Moxley's apparent shift in audience reception, the rest of the faction continued to act and be treated as villains. They were involved in assisting Will Ospreay in his pursuit of the AEW World championship throughout the year.
