Adrianne Curry Criticizes Kylie Jenner's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Debut

Adrianne Curry, the winner of the inaugural season of "America's Next Top Model," has publicly criticized Kylie Jenner's appearance at the recent Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Curry stated during a livestream that Jenner "doesn't have a model's body" and questioned why the reality star was chosen to wear the $50 million diamond-studded fantasy bra.

"Nothing against Kylie Jenner... you're not a f--king model," Curry said, adding that the fantasy bra is intended for a "top Victoria's Secret Angel" and represents a significant achievement within the brand's hierarchy.

Curry expressed that Victoria's Secret has lost its former prestige, stating, "In 2010, I would say Victoria's Secret meant something. Now it's meaningless." She criticized the brand's current approach to inclusivity, suggesting that it prioritizes factors other than traditional modeling skill. Curry also lamented that the brand seems to rely on established influencers and older models rather than discovering and promoting new talent, citing Adriana Lima's early career as an example of the brand's past scouting practices.

Curry's remarks on social media platform X garnered mixed reactions, with some users agreeing with her assessment and others accusing her of jealousy. Representatives for Victoria's Secret and Kylie Jenner did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, held in Los Angeles, featured performances by Tate McRae and appearances by numerous models, including Barbara Palvin, Gigi Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Precious Lee. Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, and her mother, Kris Jenner, were also in attendance.
