Adam22, the host of the "No Jumper" podcast, has announced his separation from his wife, Lena the Plug. The announcement came on Monday's episode of his podcast, where he stated that the couple had "ran into some issues" and decided to place their relationship "on ice for a period of time."
"I would like to formally announce that my wife and I are officially separated," Adam22 said. He added that while reconciliation is a possibility, they are currently taking a break. The couple, who married in May 2023 and have been together for over a decade, share a 5-year-old daughter, Parker.
Adam22, whose real name is Adam Grandmaison, cited his demanding podcasting schedule as a significant factor in the relationship's strain. He acknowledged that his one-sided lifestyle, focusing heavily on his work and not being an active participant in family life, likely contributed to their issues. "Over the last couple of years, in particular, since we had our child, that, I think my extremely one-sided lifestyle of doing podcasts all day every day and not really making myself a terribly active participant in the family life is probably like the biggest factor," he explained.
He recounted a comment from Lena, born Lena Nersesian, where she stated, "You know, you feel like your responsibility in this relationship is to go to work and come back." Adam22 admitted he realized he needs more balance in his life if the couple is to reconcile.
This separation follows a period of drama involving a hoax divorce filing. In June, Lena the Plug claimed that an unknown individual filed divorce papers in her name, alleging financial and physical abuse, and seeking custody of their daughter. The petition, which listed a date of separation as April 15, also detailed alleged assets, including $1.15 million in real estate.
Lena the Plug addressed the situation on social media, calling it the work of a "crazy psycho stalker fan" and stated she had been receiving rejected paperwork for months. She had also filed a police report about the attempted identity fraud in May. The same person, she claimed, had previously caused welfare checks to be performed at their home based on false domestic violence allegations.
Adam22 was officially served divorce papers in July by the impersonator at their Studio City, California, home. Lena the Plug reiterated at the time that the filing was not her doing. In August, she filed to dismiss the dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Despite the current separation, Adam22 stated that he and Lena the Plug will continue to produce adult content together for the time being. He requested privacy for the couple during this difficult period.
