Actor Adam Woodyatt, known for his role as Ian Beale in the BBC soap opera 'EastEnders,' has reportedly lowered the price of his motorhome to £200,000. This adjustment comes after the vehicle struggled to find a buyer at its initial listing price of £214,995.
The price reduction amounts to nearly £15,000, according to reports. The Carthago motorhome, which Woodyatt used as a residence for over a year, has reportedly only accumulated 3,000 miles.
Woodyatt, 58, initially placed the motorhome on the market last year. He explained in a social media video that the decision to sell was driven by a desire to spend more time traveling to the United States to visit his daughter and new grandson. "My daughter has had a grandson, and most of my spare time now is spent flying over to see her," he stated, adding, "I’m not going to have any time to spend in it. It’s a little bit sad because I’ve really enjoyed my time up here."
Woodyatt, who has a daughter Jessica, 31, and a son Samuel, 28, with ex-wife Beverley Sharpe, moved into the motorhome during an extended break from 'EastEnders' following their 2019 separation after 22 years of marriage. He utilized the motorhome as a base during a period of absence from the soap while participating in a touring play.
The motorhome is equipped with various amenities, including underfloor heating, leather sofas, and mood lighting. Its interior features wood and white paneling to create a spacious feel, a full-size double bed, and a robust roof designed to withstand adverse weather conditions.
Woodyatt first acquired the motorhome in 2021, intending to use it as accommodation for a planned tour. Although the tour faced multiple postponements, he made use of the vehicle for personal trips, including a stay in Devon. He previously told The Sun that the motorhome would eliminate the need for hotel stays during the tour.
