Adam Thomas, an actor known for his role in "Waterloo Road," has recounted a harrowing experience from his teenage years when a gun was pointed at his head while he was on a bus.
Thomas, 38, shared the story on the "At Home With The Thomas Bros" podcast, which he hosts with his brothers Scott and Ryan. He described how the incident occurred when he was approximately 14 or 15 years old. He was seated at the back of a double-decker bus when a group of individuals boarded and brandished what he initially believed to be a fake firearm.
"Then they took the like revolver out and showed me all the bullets and I just s**t myself," Thomas recalled on the podcast. His brother Ryan, 42, reacted with surprise, comparing the situation to a video game scenario.
Later in the podcast, Ryan Thomas's fiancée, Lucy Mecklenburgh, discussed their sleeping arrangements, explaining that they often sleep in separate beds and rooms. Mecklenburgh, 35, cited Thomas's snoring and sleep-talking as reasons for the separate sleeping quarters, noting that she prioritizes sleep, especially with their two young children. The couple, who have been together since 2017 and got engaged in 2019, share son Roman, aged six, and daughter Lilah, aged four. Mecklenburgh also mentioned that marriage has become a lower priority due to having children before their wedding.
The discussion about sleeping arrangements also touched upon their residences in Manchester and London. Thomas explained that in their Manchester home, they have separate bedrooms and living rooms. In their smaller London home, they sometimes share a bed due to space constraints, a situation Adam Thomas expressed disapproval of.
The podcast episode also included a segment where Ryan Thomas's brothers teased him about appearing "in love" with Mecklenburgh during a recent trip to Copenhagen. Thomas described himself as "besotted" and expressed his deep affection for his fiancée.
