Movie star Adam Sandler officiated the recent wedding of singer Taylor Swift. Sandler has maintained connections with both Swift and her new husband, NFL player Travis Kelce, for several years.
Sandler appeared on Kelce's podcast, "New Heights," earlier in 2025. During the appearance, Kelce, who co-hosts the podcast with his brother Jason, wore a "Happy Gilmore" hat and referred to Sandler as "the legend."
Kelce also expressed his gratitude to Sandler in an Instagram post last July, around the time of the release of a movie project they worked on together. "Man this life is crazy!! Still so surreal I got this opportunity,” Kelce wrote. “SANDMAN!! Thank you brotha, for the opportunity."
Sandler, in turn, spoke highly of Kelce in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that summer, describing him as "a great actor and a great human." He noted Kelce's relatable personality, saying, "Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell. He’s like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say."
Sandler also shared positive remarks about Swift, calling her "incredible." He highlighted her kindness towards his family. "Taylor is so damn nice to my family and has always been,” Sandler said. “My kids have met Taylor a bunch of times over the years, and she’s ridiculously nice to them and warm."
