Actor Adam Sandler officiated the wedding of singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on Friday, advising the couple to "keep kissing" throughout their marriage. The ceremony took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City and was attended by an estimated 1,000 guests.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who has coached Kelce since 2013, shared Sandler's advice during a press conference on Sunday. "Adam Sandler conducted the service there and he told them to 'keep kissing,' in its simplest form. That’s a good thing," Reid said. "It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss… And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to. Knock it out, and you won’t have any problems."

Kelce has a prior connection with Sandler, having appeared in a cameo role in the sequel to Sandler's film "Happy Gilmore" last year. He also hosted Sandler on his and his brother Jason's podcast, "New Heights," in 2024. During that appearance, Sandler spoke about how Swift's happiness with Kelce positively impacted his own family.

Reid was among many Kansas City Chiefs figures present at the wedding, with nearly the entire roster invited. Harrison Butker, the team's kicker, was reportedly the only player not on the guest list. Butker had previously drawn controversy for a 2024 commencement speech at Benedictine College, where he suggested women prioritize motherhood over careers and made comments about abortion, the LGBTQ+ community, and then-President Joe Biden's stance on abortion.
