Actress Merrie Lynn Ross Spotted on Rare Outing in Los Angeles

Merrie Lynn Ross, an actress known for her roles in 1970s cult classics, was recently seen on a rare public outing in Los Angeles. The sighting occurred approximately 50 years after she co-starred with Lynda Carter in the 1976 film "Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw."

Ross was photographed getting her vehicle serviced at Firestone Auto Care and subsequently shopping at a Dollar Tree. She was dressed in a summer dress, sandals, and a hat, carrying a red tote bag and wearing sunglasses.

Ross is best recognized for her role as Pearl Baker in "Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw," a film that followed Carter's character, Bobbie, on an adventure. She also played Diane Norris in the 1982 action-thriller "Class of 1984." Her other film credits include "The Lucifer Complex" (1978) and "Love at First Bite" (1979). Additionally, Ross was a regular on the soap opera "General Hospital," portraying Emma Lutz.

Beyond her acting career, Ross is the mother of the late actor Byron Fox, who died in 2008 at the age of 22. He was known for his role as Danny Kessler on the Disney Channel series "Lizzie McGuire."

In recent years, Ross has shifted her focus to holistic wellness advocacy. She has authored nine books, with her latest title, "Beverly Hills Shaman: BE Real, Heal, Laugh, Love," released on May 6. She has described the book as a "roadmap of practical alchemy" for building resilience and shared that it includes recipes and journal prompts.

Ross maintains an active online presence, frequently sharing self-help videos and inspirational content on Instagram.
