A California actress, Brandee Evans, captured a heartwarming engagement on Malibu's Point Mugu State Beach, with the video of the proposal quickly resonating with social media users. Evans, known for her role in the Starz drama "P-Valley," was on a cliff overlooking the beach when she witnessed Daniel Sanchez propose to his now-fiancée, Blanca Carcamo.
Evans, who is also a caregiver for her mother, noticed families positioned behind cars, seemingly preparing to record the proposal. She realized the couple was the same one she had encountered earlier on the beach.
She shared a video of the moment on Instagram, showing Sanchez asking Carcamo to pose for a photo before getting down on one knee. Evans noted that by the time she returned to her car, the families had departed, preventing her from sharing the video directly with them. Her subsequent request for online assistance successfully connected her with the newly engaged couple.
"I’m yelling at the end like she’s my cousin. Congratulations, y’all! This was so sweet to witness," Evans commented on the captured event.
Sanchez and Carcamo's relationship has a unique history, with the couple having attended the same church as children before reconnecting years later. Carcamo shared that her father discovered old family photographs revealing they had appeared in the same quinceañera celebration years ago.
Carcamo mentioned she had been anticipating a proposal for nearly seven years. The couple plans to marry in May 2027.
