Actor Keegan Allen Recounts Brutal Armed Robbery in Los Angeles

Actor Keegan Allen is recovering after being robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two masked assailants outside a Los Angeles grocery store.

Allen, 37, posted a photo on Instagram Sunday showing his neck with visible redness, indicating healing from the attack. "Thank you all for such kind and caring messages. I’m on the mend," he wrote. "Really grateful to God, law enforcement, medical and my friends and following for being so supportive."

The incident occurred Thursday night outside Laurel Supply, a high-end grocery store. Allen posted a video on Instagram shortly after the ambush, appearing dazed and out of breath. "These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off," he said. "They had masks on and took my watch. They took my watch. Dammit."

He captioned the video, "West Hollywood is not safe anymore. Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have!" He added, "God said no tonight. My life for a watch."

Security footage shared by Allen showed one suspect striking him multiple times with a gun while the other held him at knifepoint. The two men fled with only his watch, leaving his bracelet and ring untouched.

On Saturday, Allen shared images of stitches above his left eyebrow, another injury sustained during the attack. "Thank you to medical team at [sic] and law enforcement and everyone reaching out ❤️," he wrote, adding that he was "healing."

911 dispatch audio obtained by Page Six revealed that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies were dispatched to the scene, identified as 8445 Santa Monica Blvd., the address of Laurel Supply, just after 9 p.m. A representative for the LASD confirmed to Page Six that a call for service was placed for a "robbery." Deputies reported that the suspects were described as two men in black clothing, with one wielding a handgun and the other a knife.
