Activist Dubbed 'Palestinian Rachel Dolezal' Exposed as Wealthy White Woman

Activist Hannah Gann, who had been masquerading as a Black, Palestinian, and Tunisian woman, has been revealed to be a white Jewish individual who grew up in a privileged environment. Gann, 34, previously known for her intense activism against Israel and once labeled "Philadelphia’s Leading Antisemite," reportedly lied about her heritage to fellow activists.
Sources close to Gann revealed to The Philadelphia Inquirer that she has living relatives in the West Bank, contradicting her claims of Palestinian descent. This deception has led to her being compared on social media to Rachel Dolezal, the former NAACP chapter president who was unmasked for falsely presenting herself as Black.
Gann grew up in Falls Church, Virginia, a suburb of Washington D.C. with one of the highest median incomes in the United States. Her family home, a four-bedroom house, is currently valued at approximately $1.8 million. Her father, Hal Gann, is a distinguished tax attorney who, like his daughter, attended the University of Pennsylvania and later Yale Law School. Her mother, Susan Gann, is noted as a donor to Democratic election campaigns.
Gann was an honor roll student during her high school years. Following the exposure of her misrepresentation, she issued an apology. The revelations have drawn parallels to the case of Rachel Dolezal, who maintained her false identity for years before being exposed.
