Corey Jefferys, the founder of the activewear brand Ready Or Not, is facing multiple domestic violence charges and is subject to two interim apprehended violence orders (AVOs) protecting two former girlfriends. Jefferys, 33, who has cultivated an image as a role model for young men overcoming troubled backgrounds, denies all charges.

Jefferys was charged earlier this month with domestic violence-related attempted stalking and intimidation of his 27-year-old partner, Isabella Nieto-Roels. He appeared in Sutherland Local Court on August 9 and was granted bail with conditions that he not go near or contact Ms. Nieto-Roels, including via social media. Three days later, a judge granted an interim AVO sought by police to protect Ms. Nieto-Roels. Jefferys was ordered not to go within 100 meters of her residence or workplace. These matters were adjourned for further hearing.

Separately, Jefferys is also subject to another interim AVO taken out by police to protect his former girlfriend, Cass Beric, a 24-year-old influencer who has modeled for Ready Or Not. This matter was mentioned at Bankstown Local Court on July 15, where Jefferys was also charged with two counts of domestic violence-related common assault. He has pleaded not guilty to these assault charges, with a hearing scheduled for December.

Jefferys' Ready Or Not brand has gained significant traction on TikTok, boasting nearly 240,000 followers. The brand celebrated its third anniversary in December with a party attended by television, business, and social media personalities. Jefferys has spoken publicly about his past, stating he was raised in public housing by a single mother while his father was frequently incarcerated. He has said he stopped partying and using drugs four years ago and aims to be a positive influence for young men.

Jefferys told the Daily Mail that he intends to defend all the domestic violence charges, stating, "There's just so much more to it. I want my story to be heard." He also indicated he is considering legal action for defamation due to online harassment he claims to have experienced since the allegations emerged. "My mental health is not good right now," Jefferys said, adding, "At the end of the day, I'm a single dad and I don't want my reputation destroyed."

Court records indicate Jefferys has previous convictions for drug offenses. In March 2022, he pleaded guilty to two counts of supplying drugs and dealing with the proceeds of crime, as well as possessing a prescribed restricted substance. He was sentenced to a 15-month community correction order requiring drug and alcohol counseling and mental health treatment. In August 2022, he pleaded guilty to driving with an illicit drug in his system and received an 18-month conditional release order without conviction. In September 2020, he pleaded guilty to possessing a prescribed restricted substance and was placed on a two-year conditional release order, also without conviction.
