ABC News will present a 24-hour multi-platform broadcast event, "Disney Celebrates America," to commemorate the United States' 250th anniversary. The programming, led by "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir, is scheduled to begin on July 3 and extend through July 4, with coverage planned across all 50 states.

The commemoration kicks off at 10 p.m. ET on July 3 with a focus on the Statue of Liberty, including a rare look inside the landmark. As midnight strikes on July 4, ABC News will broadcast from Gatlinburg, Tennessee, marking the nation's first parade of the day.

"Good Morning America" will air a special three-hour program featuring co-anchors Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan sharing personal American journeys. Following "GMA," ABC News anchors and correspondents will explore the "7 Wonders of America," highlighting the country's geography, cultural heritage, and significant historical moments. The afternoon programming will include the finals of The Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest on ESPN, with Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo expected to compete.

The evening of July 4 will feature a special edition of "World News Tonight," followed by the "Star-Spangled Bash" in Nashville. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest and airing at 8 p.m. ET, the Nashville event will include performances by artists such as Reba McEntire, Nick Jonas, Boyz II Men, Tim McGraw, Brothers Osborne, and Lauren Daigle. The celebration is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of attendees and will feature a large fireworks and drone show accompanied by a live score from the Nashville Symphony.
