Aaron Rodgers announced that he will not share further personal updates regarding his family after recently reconciling with them following a period of estrangement. The NFL quarterback shared photos of himself with his parents, Ed and Darla, and his older brother, Luke, on Instagram last month, an action he described to USA Today Sports as a "one-time deal."

Rodgers, 42, stated that he felt compelled to post the photos to address the existing public narrative about his strained family relationships, which he believes has not been truthful. "I think that the personal life should stay personal and private," he told USA Today Sports in an interview published Wednesday. "But I feel like it was part of the full-circle to just one time post something, and never again. So that that narrative can finally be put to rest."

He credited his wife, Brittani, for her support during the process of reconnecting with his family. "I’m happy to be reunited and that part of my life is a really beautiful addition, and I gotta give my wife a lot of credit for — not that she was pushing me because she never was — but just the way she loves and supports me, having her by my side throughout this process has been really special and I miss those relationships," Rodgers shared in an interview with NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt.

Rodgers also mentioned spending a long weekend with his parents, brother, his brother's wife, and their two children, experiencing being an uncle. However, his younger brother, Jordan Rodgers, a former contestant on "The Bachelorette," was noticeably absent from the reunion photos. Rodgers alluded to the ongoing distance with Jordan in an interview with The Athletic published Monday, suggesting that not all family members have maintained the same level of privacy.

Rodgers explained that he has consistently advocated for keeping family matters private. "I’ve been really staunch, going back to when there was a schism, that I feel like that stuff should be off limits," he told The Athletic. "Now, not everybody in the family adhered to the same thing. But there are different things, situations, experiences, and people that actually change your life."

In 2016, Jordan Rodgers publicly discussed his estrangement from Aaron during his appearance on "The Bachelorette." At the time, he stated, "Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship. It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life, and I’ve chosen to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother."
