Aaron Rodgers' Expletive-Laden Outburst Caught on Camera During Steelers' Victory

Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was caught on camera expressing strong disapproval of a play call during the fourth quarter of his team's victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. CBS cameras captured Rodgers audibly uttering expletives while looking toward the sideline.

Fans interpreting the lip-reading reported Rodgers saying, “That play f–king sucks ass. F–king sucks ass!” The outburst occurred after an incomplete pass on a 3rd and 10 to receiver Romeo Wilson.

It remained unclear who the former four-time NFL MVP was directing his frustration toward, though many speculated it was aimed at head coach Mike McCarthy or offensive coordinator Brian Angelichio due to Rodgers' apparent gaze toward the sideline.

Rodgers completed 19 of 34 passes for 292 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Steelers' 30-27 win at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers outgained the Bengals 411-352 and converted seven of 12 third downs. Following the game, Rodgers expressed satisfaction with his team's performance.

“We had a nice game today. We put up over 400 yards, 30 points and it could’ve been a lot more,” Rodgers said, as his team improved to a 2-1 record. “But every week is a different week, different challenge, different opponent, different defense. I thought it was a tighter week for us, mentally, execution-wise.”

With the win, both the Steelers and the Bengals hold a 2-1 record in the AFC North. The Steelers are set to face the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.
