Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers has addressed rumors surrounding Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Drew Allar, specifically concerning alleged "racy" direct messages. Speaking on the "Not Just Football with Cam Heyward" podcast, Rodgers stated that the messages, which went viral in 2025, were untrue.

Rodgers, 43, said that Allar, 22, wanted him to clarify the situation. "He definitely wanted me to come on here and say it's not true and that it was it was made up, but it's out there. It's a little racy," Rodgers said.

However, Rodgers emphasized that Allar has been in a committed relationship for a long time and is happy. "And it's none of that was ever true," he added. Allar has been publicly in a relationship with Emma Bush since high school, with Bush recently posting a video celebrating their seven-year anniversary.

Rodgers recalled how the DM rumors circulated within NFL quarterback rooms. "When I heard Drew Allar, the first thing I thought was, Oh, that DM thing. I remember seeing that it went around like the quarterback rooms," he said.

Rodgers also commented on how Allar handled the situation within the Steelers' locker room. "One of the first things I said to him was like, 'Hey, the DM thing ever get you in trouble?' You know, especially when he was like, 'Yeah, I've been with, you know, my girlfriend for a long time.' And I was like, 'You got through that DM scandal?'" Rodgers recounted.

Rodgers expressed that the current Steelers quarterback room, which includes himself, Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Allar, is one of his favorites.
