Aaron Donald, the decorated defensive tackle who announced his retirement after the 2023 NFL season, is reportedly serious about a potential return to the league. Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay shared details suggesting Donald's commitment, noting that the player flew his personal speed trainer from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles for a workout at the team's facility.

"He’s got such an intentional routine and rhythm," McVay told reporters. "He’s had his same speed trainer that he’s worked out with throughout his whole career that he has back at home or back in Pittsburgh that he’s brought out here."

Donald has been actively involved in workouts at the Rams' facility in Woodland Hills since expressing interest in a comeback. The team hosted an official tryout for the three-time Defensive Player of the Year, who spent his entire decade-long career with the Rams. While the team has been cautious not to pressure the future Hall of Famer, signs increasingly point toward a reunion.

Sources close to the situation indicate that Donald might make a decision on his future as early as next week. The intensity of his preparation, including bringing his trainer across the country, suggests a significant level of dedication to resuming his playing career.
