Aaron Donald Out for Rams' Clash with Eagles Due to Back Injury
The star defensive tackle will miss Sunday's game after being sidelined for all practices this week.
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to back soreness, head coach Sean McVay announced Friday.
The future Hall of Famer missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday, and did not participate on Friday, leading to his unavailability for the road game at Lincoln Financial Field.
Donald, 35, is just two games into his return to the NFL after a nearly three-year retirement. His absence marks the first significant setback in his comeback season. The Rams have been managing his workload deliberately since his return, with Donald missing the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers before playing in the subsequent two games.
Tight end Terrance Ferguson and cornerback Jaylen Watson will also be sidelined for the Rams' matchup with the Eagles.
