90s Music Icons Natalie Appleton and Liam Howlett Step Out Casually in London
The All Saints singer and The Prodigy frontman were spotted walking their dog, drawing attention for their low-key appearance.
Natalie Appleton, 53, and Liam Howlett, 55, a prominent couple from the 90s music scene, were recently seen enjoying a casual outing with their chihuahua in London's Hampstead Heath. Appleton, known for her role in the girl group All Saints, and Howlett, the founder and frontman of the electronic band The Prodigy, have been together since 2000 and married for 24 years.
Appleton was photographed wearing a white long-sleeved T-shirt with "Highly explosive reggae hits" printed on the front, paired with a North Face bucket hat and Free City jogging bottoms. Howlett, sporting his signature bleached blonde hair, wore a custom black top featuring a Nike Swoosh integrated with the Akatsuki red cloud pattern. His tattoos were visible, hinting at his band's edgy persona.
All Saints rose to fame in the late 1990s with hits such as "Never Ever," "Pure Shores," and "Under The Bridge." Appleton also had a brief solo career and participated in "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" in 2004. More recently, she reunited with her sister Nicole Appleton to form the duo Appleton, releasing new music.
Howlett's band, The Prodigy, achieved international success with tracks like "Firestarter," "Breathe," and "Smack My B***h Up." The band experienced tragedy with the death of lead singer Keith Flint in 2019. Howlett and vocalist Maxim continue to perform as The Prodigy, maintaining the group's popularity. In a past interview, Howlett reflected on Flint's passing, stating that while the loss was devastating, he now focuses on the positive memories and experiences shared with his bandmate.
The couple met at V Festival in 2000. Images from their recent outing show them in a relaxed mode, a contrast to their public personas during their respective band's peak fame.
