Armando Rubio, a star of the reality series “90 Day Fiancé,” announced that his 13-year-old daughter, Hannah, has been released from a hospital in Arizona after suffering a brain bleed. Rubio shared the update via a series of videos on Instagram, expressing his relief and gratitude that Hannah is recovering.

Rubio, who is from Mexico, was initially unable to join his daughter in the United States due to a denied humanitarian parole request. He was eventually able to cross the border and reunite with Hannah and his husband, Kenneth Neidermeier, who had been by her side. Rubio stated that Hannah’s condition significantly improved after his arrival.

"I’m actually very happy, very just thrilled, and just my heart is so full to let you guys know that Hannah has been released from the hospital, which is the best news we could have right now," Rubio said in the video. Neidermeier added that Hannah was eager to leave the hospital and that her progress had pleased her medical team.

Despite her discharge, Hannah is not yet out of the woods. She will remain in the Phoenix area for another month for continued medical observation. Doctors have not yet determined the cause of her brain bleed, a situation Rubio described as “unsettling.” Hannah is currently on anti-seizure medication, has partial blindness in one eye, and will require rehabilitation to address facial muscle weakness.

The couple expressed their deep appreciation for the support from fans and fellow “90 Day Fiancé” cast members, crediting public attention with helping Rubio secure passage to the U.S. Rubio also tearfully thanked Neidermeier for his care and support during the challenging time, highlighting his husband’s role as a father.

Hannah became suddenly ill last week, exhibiting facial drooping and weakness on one side of her body. Her condition required her to be airlifted to a hospital in Phoenix for intensive care due to the brain bleed. Rubio had been a single father to Hannah since the death of her mother in a car accident.

Rubio and Neidermeier, who married in May 2021, are known to fans from Season 2 of “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.” Neidermeier relocated from the U.S. to Mexico to be with Rubio after they connected online.
