The universe of "9-1-1" is set to expand with the milestone 10th season premiere of the original series, alongside the second season of "9-1-1: Nashville." Both shows are scheduled to return to ABC on Thursday, October 15.

The premiere episode of "9-1-1" Season 10, titled "That Sinking Feeling," will tackle an "earth-shattering emergency that shakes the city of Los Angeles to its core." The synopsis also hints at character development, with Athena, played by Angela Bassett, finding her footing as a detective and relying on her instincts, while May gains confidence in a new role. A trailer for the season suggests the 118 team will face a volcanic eruption, a scenario for which Los Angeles lacks established protocols.

Following "9-1-1," the second season of "9-1-1: Nashville" will debut with its first episode, "Going Rogue." This installment will see the 113 responding to a museum crisis involving murder hornets. Concurrently, a new detective, Rogue Kelly, will investigate a series of mysterious crimes with biblical undertones. The episode will also address the fallout from a physical altercation between Blythe and Dixie, and Don will face repercussions.

Both "9-1-1" and "9-1-1: Nashville" were renewed by ABC on March 5, ensuring the continuation of the popular first responder narratives.

The new episodes will air from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET for "9-1-1" and from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET for "9-1-1: Nashville." Viewers with a cable subscription can watch the premieres live via ABC or through the ABC app and ABC.com. For those without traditional cable, live TV streaming services such as YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and FuboTV offer access to ABC.

Additionally, new episodes of both series will be available for streaming the day after their broadcast premiere on Hulu. Subscription options for Hulu start at $11.99 per month for the ad-supported version, with an ad-free plan costing $18.99 per month. Bundles including Disney+ and Hulu are also available, starting at $12.99 per month.
